I love the color and texture of the fabric.Great pair of shorts. Only problem I had was that the length was too long so had to roll up one "roll." Other than that, love the fit at waist, material and overall look! Bought Mavi jeans and first shorts purchase. Being relatively slim, really like fit of their products.I really like the looks, feel and fit but if they weren't on sale I wouldn't have purchased them. They're just shorts, $50 is maximum.Material is nice to touch, with a little stretch, and well made. Love this brand now.Pretty good shorts. The pockets are very shallow. There is no coin pocket just so you know. There is two buttons at top. One is on the inside and one is on the outside. Inside button is tricky. Material seemed to be less soft after wash, but it was buttery soft before wash and now it is smooth. Stretchy if I decide to put on 20 pounds.Good fit, look good, BUT...Some ridiculously cheap dye is used.I have never (as in not once in my life) had any piece of clothing discolour after a wash.Not even after hot water.These shorts got huge discoloration pattern all over after a cold wash in gentle cycle.instead of even slightly greenish colour they are now all sort of shades of white and off-white, like a child was trying to paint over them.All other clothes in the same wash were completely fine.I am positive that they have used some cheap sub-standard dye, which is unacceptable even for cheap items, nevermind short with MSRP of over $70 bucks.I have a pair of Mavi jeans and they are a great quality. I think I will stay away from Mavi shorts from now on.Great color with a small amount of stretch. These fit just as other Mavi products. I typically wear a 31 in Levis and Carhartts but I wear a 30 inch in Mavi products. I am a slender build and they fit perfectly. Snug on the thighs.These shorts stay tight to the thigh all the way through the fit. At 6'6'', 250#, made made me feel pear shaped, so I returned. Quality was good, slight stretch to the material, which may be just a little thick for heat of the summer imo... I think if you have the body for the style they'd be great!
