After trying some other brands and 2 pairs of these in different designs, here are some thoughts after my first triathlon season.- The pocket in the back is awesome. On an Olympic course I put a cliff bar in there before jumping in the water and was overjoyed to remember it half way through the bike.- There is no modesty lining. Not that I have anything to hide, I just would rather not spark a lively discussion every time I want to go from the bike to the weight room.- The biggest drawback for me is the open chamois. I guess the idea is that you can put your own bike padding inside during transition and rip it out for the run. I have not tried using an additional padding. For me the chamois is a sufficient padding. The problem is that the chamois has no stitching in the front which allows for the front of the chamois to slide independently during cycling. I find this sliding to be distracting and annoying. I only use these shorts in swim training now.- comparatively, you could buy a very basic jammer for $10 and do without the chamois. After a TON of time spent comparing different tri shorts, I finally bought these for my husband's Xterra and he loved them. He previously had 2XU Comp Tri shorts and liked them at first, but the material did not seem to be of great quality, as they wore thin quickly (yes, even caring for them as the tag indicated). These shorts have a different feel to the material entirely and have held up extremely well so far. Also, the inside padding is far superior than the chamois padding in the 2XU's. We live on a tropical island and my husband says these breathe far better than his previous shorts. For size reference, he is 5'11", 180 lbs and wears a medium in this.Great shorts. Used in my first few triathlons, as well as for all of my bike rides that I do. Dry quickly, and extremely comfortable. Does not diaper in the water. Best part is that the hem is not a rubber piece, so you can really wear them for a long time. I am 6'4", 200lbs, 25" thighs and 34" waist. I wear the large, and the fit is great. Only complaint, and it may be down to my bike seat, is that after about 60 min of cycling, some friction begins to build up between the seat and lower thighs. All in all, awesome pair of shorts.I have tried every brand out there with little success until these. I am 6'4 and weigh 190 ish. I wear a large in these and an xl on the top. the top is longer than most tops and as comfortable as any you can find. I wish there was a little more padding but it does make them the most comfortable tri short I have ever ran in.I just did my first Sprint Triathlon using these. Worked out great. Fit well and provided enough cushioning for the bike. They seemed to dry relatively quickly too. Will have to see how they do for an Olympic Triathlon next year.Good shorts so far for a running and swim, but no front liner and no pad in the front so everything dose show. the pad is kind of thick and dose feel like it bunch's up in the rear after a swimI've rode in 'regular' bike shorts from all the big brands for the last 30 years but the quick dry padding in these might be the most comfortable of any that I had. I bought these to do my first triathlon but I wear them now for everyday rides as well. Wish I got the bib!Well made try shorts, padding is a little thin but adequateVom schnitt her eher eine eine klassische radhose ohne träger, schlage den bund beim laufen nach innen um, dann sitzt sie gut auf der hüfte.
