If you've ever owned LinkSoul shorts, you will know just how easy it is to slide your hand in your pocket. These shorts, while very nice in every other category, just lack the pocket ease. It sounds like a small gripe, but it makes a difference in day to day living- especially if you normally wear Linksoul boardwalks. These are a bit more expensive, so I am being a bit extra critical.The other small complaint, is there is no branding on these (except on the inside) so if you like to see your brand represented- you will not get it with these.These are very nice shorts and my husband is very pleased with them. They have a slightly tighter/slimmer cut, so for you other middle-agers, you may want to size up a smidge, but they still fit fine, just may be a little more form-fitting than other clothes (at least for my husband's usual style). That said, he really does love them and finds them incredibly comfortable and they seem to be more wrinkle-resistant than many of his other dressier shorts or pants (these come in pants too and I think I will get those for him next!)One amazing thing that he loves and I'm super jealous of, is that the back pockets are held together by inner MAGNETS!! How have other designers missed this!! What a brilliant fix for a nice clean look without buttons. I now fully expect this to hopefully become a trend and be on all or the majority of pants within the next 5-10 years. I'm ready for it now!!Another interesting thing to note was that there was an actual price on the price tag, which I find very unusual for Amazon. I don't necessarily love it or hate it but it struck me as something I've never really thought of before but definitely don't see often. If gifting, your giftee would see the price, but then again, these aren't cheap, so it's not necessarily a problem still, just interesting. Speaking of price, I do think these are at the higher end and may be too much for the average person. I mean, we probably only spend about $75 maybe on my husband's NICE shorts, let alone his basic/weekend shorts or something, so that may be a drawback, BUT, if they are in your price range, I think the value is there and you won't be disappointed.very comfortable and a good length.Not a style I would have tried previously for Shorts but I like them a lot.Very nice quality. I found them just slightly smaller than the size I ordered, so keep that in mind.Very nice, lightweight shorts, with almost a dress shorts feel. Color is spot on and holds up to washing.Very nice quality and material. Good fit and drape. Perfect for golf or just knocking around town.After having lost a significant amount of weight, I have had to get a whole new wardrobe. I fit in a 34 just fine but sometimes I like a little room, but 36 is a bit too large in most shorts. So whenever I find a 35, I will immediately order it and that's what I did here.I have to say that I am very impressed with these shorts. They fit GREAT! And they are super comfortable too. The pockets are a great size and I LOVE that the back pockets have magnets which keep your pocket closed. This is genius. The color is great too - it's a bit different that what I usually wear (which is strictly khaki or gray) but I found that I really like it. And...these are so comfortable that I will definitely be buying another pair in a different color too.These shorts are not cheap but they are made well and fit so nicely that I think they are well, well worth it. I highly recommend them!My husband loves Johnnie O brand for fit and quality! These are perfect for dinner or the golf course with a tee or golf shirt!One thing you notice early on when looking at these is that they are high-quality fabric which has been stitched up and built in a pair of shorts that shines in every way; performance, style, versatility, quality - these are great and a cut above nearly all others. If you want quality that looks great and somehow feels even better, you can’t go wrong with these. Sizing was perfect for me as well. Can’t say enough. good things about this product.
